Sometimes it is painful to wake up to hear the latest news

The powerful trampling down on the powerless

So much pain, evil, hate, greed

And I have to wonder,

WHERE are you?

Where ARE you?

Where are YOU?

WHERE ARE YOU?

But, your gifts surround us,

Gifts that are invisible to the powerful,

Gifts that set our hearts soaring,

Provide hope, inspire joy

Even in these dark hours.

For this I give you thanks.
