Driving to work on a sun-soaked morning

The hymn fills my heart as I cry out to you.

Every day my heart breaks with news of more hate and greed

 and disregard for all your people, all your creation.

We sigh. We cry. We groan.

How much more suffering must your people endure?

Come, Lord Jesus. Let your kingdom come.
